**Bumper-to-bumper** (basic) warranty covers nearly everything on the vehicle except wear items like tires and brake pads-essentially all components that aren't normal consumables. It's broad but typically lasts a shorter time (3 years or so).

**Powertrain** warranty focuses only on core engine, transmission, and drivetrain components, but it lasts much longer (often 5-8 years). It's your safety net for expensive failures.

Think of bumper-to-bumper as comprehensive short-term protection, and powertrain as long-term protection where it matters most. Castle Chevrolet North's team can explain exactly which coverage applies to your new Chevy and help you understand what's most important to you. Call (847) 439-0900 to discuss.
