Synthetic oil lasts longer-often 10,000-15,000 miles or more-versus conventional oil's typical 5,000-7,500 mile lifespan. Synthetic also performs better in extreme temperatures and keeps your engine cleaner over time. The tradeoff is upfront cost, though you change it less often.

Conventional oil is budget-friendly and works well for most driving patterns. Your Chevrolet's owner's manual specifies which type is recommended. The Castle Chevrolet North Service team can advise what's best for your vehicle and driving habits. Call (847) 439-0900 to chat through your options.
